Mid 40s in appearance, with a wiry, rugged build, Fogmort isn’t the most imposing adventurer, but he more than makes up for this with experience and tactical expertise. Never losing his cool, he has avoided making the types of errors that stronger, more hot-headed human adventurers might make on Arvia. The types of errors that such adventurers would tend to make only once. He has an uncanny ability to know the right place and the wrong place to be at any given time–and act accordingly.
He has lived for many years in Xin, building a reputation for performing miscellaneous adventuring jobs. Searching for missing caravans, exterminating giant insects, and protecting people from predators. He speaks little of his time prior to Xin, although he has mentioned maritime experience from time to time. Both his calculating approach to adventuring, and the scarcity of treasures in and around Xin mean that he has not accumulated the wealth or rare artifacts that a bolder adventurer in a more exotic locale might have. This also means that he must be careful using his limited resources, leading many to consider him stingy.
Although gruff on the outside, he will from time to time mentor more inexperienced adventurers, such as Darin.
